Vandegrift co-organizer of virtual conference on data, science, and climate change

Micah Vandegrift is part of a multidisciplinary team organizing the Open Climate Data Science Workshop that will be held virtually on March 1-2 and March 8-9. The workshop aims to facilitate collaborations between communities, organizations, climate scientists, and data scientists with shared goals and interests and to build capacity to use publicly available data and reproducible science to address climate change.

The Open Climate Data Science Workshop is co-organized by staff from the State Climate Office of NC, the NC Institute for Climate Studies, the Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center, and the NC State University Libraries. The organizing partners for the workshop are NC State University, the NC State University Libraries, the North Carolina Climate Office, the Southeast Climate Adaptation Science Center, and the North Carolina Institute for Climate Studies.
